studioplusthree teaching Masters of Architecture studio at UTS

studioplusthree have been appointed as design tutors for the 2025 Masters of Architecture course at the Architecture Faculty of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The studio, titled Industrial Resolutions, will focus on the decarbonisation of society through the innovative use of industrial by-products in the construction industry.

The studio will question this model of industry, exploring how the outputs of this process might become resources for a new industrial ecology that engages with communities within our cities. It will focus on making and prototyping; on detail and drawing. Through the insertion of a processing facility and public building in Waterloo, it will provoke the question of how the industrial system engages with the economic, ecological and ethical facets of society, and how it is manifested within our urban environment.
